，也叫醋酸（36%–38%）、冰醋酸（98%），化學(xué)式ch3cooh，是一種有機(jī)一元酸，為食醋主要成分。純的無水（冰醋酸）是無色的吸濕性固體，凝固點(diǎn)為16.6℃（62℉），凝固后為無色晶體，其水溶液中呈弱酸性且蝕性強(qiáng)，蒸汽對(duì)眼和鼻有刺激性作用。
是無色透明液體，低毒性，有甜味，濃度較高時(shí)有刺激性氣味，易揮發(fā)，對(duì)空氣敏感，能吸水分，使其緩慢水解而呈酸性反應(yīng)。能與氯仿、乙醇、丙酮和混溶，溶于水(10%ml/ml)。能溶解某些金屬鹽類（如氯化鋰、氯化鈷、氯化鋅、氯化鐵等）。相對(duì)密度0.902。熔點(diǎn)-83℃。沸點(diǎn)77℃。折光率1.3719。閃點(diǎn)7.2℃（開杯）。易燃。蒸氣能與空氣形成爆炸性混合物。半數(shù)致死量（大鼠，經(jīng)口）11.3ml/kg。
